We had an amazing experience with Rich Coast Diving. From answering questions via WhatsApp weeks in advance to organizing a transfer from our hotel, the booking process was seamless. Then, we met the team, all of whom were energetic, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. Phil guided our daughter on two scuba dives that she loved. He was professional and an excellent guide. Danny was our snorkel guide, and he was quick to point out various fish and take us in the best direction to spot new creatures. Thanks Rich Coast for an unforgettable day.

I had such a great experience completing my SSI Open Water Diver course with Rich Coast Diving. Phil was an excellent instructor, providing clear and detailed instruction throughout the course and making sure we fully understood everything before moving on. The course setup was great, and the online learning materials were well structured and highly relevant to the course once we got in the pool and then ocean. Have come away feeling confident and excited to continue diving. Highly recommend Phil and the course!

I had the chance to dive with Rich Coast Diving in Playas del Coco on both their 2-tank local dive trip and the Bull Shark Diving excursion to the Bat Islands, and both experiences were fantastic. The local dives were packed with marine life. We saw eels, rays, sharks, sea turtles, and plenty more. The sites were beautiful, the water was full of activity, and the entire day was extremely well organized. The Bat Islands trip was on another level. Diving with bull sharks in their natural environment was an unforgettable, bucket-list experience. As a PADI Divemaster with more than 100 dives, I can say this was easily one of the most memorable dives I have ever done. Seeing these huge bull sharks underwater, up close and completely in the wild, was absolutely incredible. The Rich Coast Diving team was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and very safety-conscious. The briefings were excellent, the crew clearly knew the dive sites, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. If you are diving in Costa Rica, do not skip Rich Coast Diving. I highly recommend doing the local dives and, if you are qualified and comfortable with more advanced diving, absolutely make the trip to the Bat Islands. Five stars all the way. I would dive with them again without hesitation.
