DIVE for LIFE membership

To enroll in our Divemaster program, candidates must:<ul><li class="ui-30d40835-py-17 ui-30d40835-bg-gray-400 ui-30d40835-border-gray-400">Be at least 18 years old</li><li class="ui-30d40835-py-17 ui-30d40835-bg-gray-400 ui-30d40835-border-gray-400">Have logged a minimum of 40 open water dives</li><li class="ui-30d40835-py-17 ui-30d40835-bg-gray-400 ui-30d40835-border-gray-400">Hold Diver Stress &amp; Rescue and React Right certifications (or equivalent)</li><li class="ui-30d40835-py-17 ui-30d40835-bg-gray-400 ui-30d40835-border-gray-400">Be certified in Deep Diving, Navigation, and Night &amp; Limited Visibility from a recognized agency</li><li class="ui-30d40835-py-17 ui-30d40835-bg-gray-400 ui-30d40835-border-gray-400">Provide medical clearance for diving from a physician within the last 12 months</li></ul>

3-month Divemaster Program

The SSI Professional Membership fee which is required tor eceive the divemaster rating can be added here and is paid directly to SSI by Rich Coast Diving. *Price valid for 2026.

SSI Registration & Annual Membership fee

This package is designed for candidates who are missing the Diver Stress &amp; Rescue and React Right certifications required to begin the Divemaster program.It includes comprehensive first aid, CPR, and oxygen administration training, followed by practical rescue skills development and realistic emergency scenarios in both confined and open water.This training not only fulfils the prerequisite requirements but also significantly builds your confidence, awareness, and ability to manage dive-related emergencies. An essential foundation before stepping into professional-level training.

For a Divemaster candidate, the SSI Advanced Open Water course course is an important step in building versatility, confidence, and exposure to varied diving conditions, creating a strong foundation before entering professional-level training.

The SSI Open Water Diver course is the first step in becoming a certified diver, covering essential theory, confined water training, and open water dives to build safe and confident diving skills. For candidates starting with no prior certifications, our Zero to Hero pathway allows you to progress from Open Water all the way to Divemaster in a structured and professional development program, building experience, certifications, and real dive center exposure along the way.

Open Water Diver course Add-On

We offer shared accommodation for our Divemaster candidates at our intern house for $400 per month (electricity not included).The house provides a comfortable and convenient living environment close to the dive center, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the training experience.The first month’s rent is due at the time of booking to secure your spot, and the remaining balance must be paid in cash on the first day of the program.
