From March to December join Rich Coast Diving for a unique ocean adventure: our guided kayaking and snorkeling tour departs every morning from the beach in Playas del Coco at 8:00 AM and returns at 11:00 AM. Due to wind conditions we do not offer kayak tours in the afternoon.

Paddle along the beautiful coast of the Gulf of Papagayo, then dive in to snorkel vibrant underwater sites. All tours are led by a professional multilingual kayak guide and include fresh fruits, iced tea and cake to refuel during your adventure.

Tour Schedule

• Departure: 8:00 AM (from the beach in Playas del Coco)

• Return: around 11:00 AM

• Location: Gulf of Papagayo (coastal route only)

• Availability: Daily, mornings only

• Duration: 3 hours

• Snorkeling is always included in every kayak tour!

No previous kayaking or snorkeling experience required

• Basic swimming ability

• Good general health and fitness

• Minimum age 12 years

• Water

• Swimsuit and towel

• Reef-safe sunscreen

• Rash guard / long-sleeve shirt, hat and sun protection

• Water shoes (recommended)

• Camera or GoPro (rental option available)

• Dry bag and/or waterproof cell phone pouch (rental option available)

• During the snorkeling session, a guide will remain on the beach to look after your belongings, while the snorkeling itself is unguided.

• Life vests are provided and must be worn by all participants.

• We recommend to bring extra water as mornings are hot and sunny in Guanacaste!

• All participants must complete required liability

• Children must be accompanied by an adult

• We have a 72-hour cancellation policy. If a cancellation is made later the deposit will be non-refundable. We highly recommend trip insurance.
